Personality: Quiet, almost conniving at times. Puts on a face of emotionlessness, however, he is incredibly quick to become angry/upset. Almost never looks happy, but in his quiet, happy moments, which are very far and in between, he's cute. He finds joy in a select few of his hobbies. In most timelines he is in a relationship with Strell. He is monogamous and takes love and romance seriously, bordering on desperate when he is alone. He is pretty bad at flirting but thinks he is great at it. He has a hard time recognizing his flaws and believes himself to be superior to everyone, while also holding himself at such a high standard that he feels worthless. He has a great fashion sense and obsesses over personal beauty to a fault; his hair is perfectly straight, black in most instances (in human versions he is white-blonde, but dyes his hair black), with a sideswipe. He almost always has horns and vampire-like fangs in all his iterations. His hobbies are strange/creepy to most people, but he doesn't seem to recognize that.

By this mid to late 30s, he becomes much more refined - he learns to love himself and is very charismatic, although still and always soft-spoken and prefers silence. He exudes an aura of intimidation and always dresses in period clothing, despite the odd looks it gets him. He becomes incredibly flustered if people mention the way he acted in his late teens/early 20s. When he's older he is able to reconcile the relationships he carelessly destroyed in his early years, and is surrounded by friends who he cares about. The only alcohol he drinks is wine because he believes it to be more refined than anything else. He doesn't really care for the taste, but he's committed to the ambiguous front that he may or may not be a vampire/

Hobbies: Taxidermy is his biggest hobby and he is very talented at it. He prefers splicing creatures to make realistic chimeras more than he likes doing plain taxidermy. He also loves gardening, which coincides with his other interest as a hobby apothecary. In most versions he makes potions with the intent to harm/kill others but as a human he just does herbal remedies (although, he is a skeptic on their effectiveness). He also loves reading, writing (got his start in "friend fiction" or fan fiction about his IRL friends and love interests, where he is the main character), and painting, although he isn't very good at it. He is very talented at the piano.

Timelines/Versions: 

- Homestuck: First iteration of corvus made in 2013. His strife specibus is poisonkind, his secondary is daggerkind (he is less proficient with it). His lusus is an all white, 7 foot tall albino crow. He lives in a victorian mansion-styled home on the edge of a cliff overlooking a mote, full of red water, with a red cloudy sky overhead. The inside of his house is messy and smells vaguely of animal hide and cyanide. His symbol is of the crow constellation corvus, a bird foot with 3 prongs. He is very attached to a cape he has woven himself of his lusus's shed feathers; after his lusus leaves he regards it dearly because it can't be replaced (no more feathers). It is clasped by a opalescent purple gem that is polished and spherical, clasped at the back by a silver bird's foot. He wears lots of silver rings on both hands, and a long sleeve black shirt with his symbol in the center. He wears white, light gray or dark gray skinny jeans or slacks and professional-looking men's shoes. He has an inferiority complex over his blood color which is a shade below indigo, but well above cerulean - because his blood is not fully indigo he is one step "below" the ruling class and will eventually be forced to serve under them. He insists his blood is purple, however, his social status and life reflects a lower class. It is a sore point for him his entire life. His ancestor's object is a potion book which details not only poisons but healing substances which are all scribbled out as he apparently never found a combination that could help someone without harming them. His ancestor is called The Executioner, a servant under the subjuggulator Raized (will get into that some other time) who helped execute prisoners that were found guilty. He does not enjoy doing it and eventually breaks free under a pact with Strell, who becomes his lover.

- DND: A tiefling, his mother gave him up at birth after being seduced by a demon. Has fended for himself at birth. He doesn't actually know he's a tiefling until much further in the plot - "I just thought I was purple, I dunno" - when he meets his father, an almighty but capricious demon. He uses both poison and small daggers in battle, being much more proficient than either as a spellcasting warlock. He is Chaotic Neutral or Lawful Evil, preferring to fight for himself and protect himself against all odds. His skin is mid-to-light lavender with curved horns coming from his forehead. His fingertips, horn tips, and tail tip are inky purple-black and shiny. His tail tip also has black crow's feathers. He wears a cape with a galaxy print that seems to move and swirl as he walks. He wears gold bracelets, necklaces, and a gold cord belt, as well as a gold crow-foot that covers his shoulders and chest area.

- Eternal Prince: A man born of a long line of witches becomes maddened by his ability to walk in the Ether, a plane of magic and madness. The deeper one walks, the more their power grows but at the cost of their sanity. Corvus has learned to traverse this plane and lost his soul. He is corrupted by the magic that has taken ahold of him, allowing him to wield almost infinite power. He rules a kingdom tyrannically, using magic to keep his body young and destroy those who oppose him. Most witches who have walked in the Ether lose not just their mind, but their bodies, transforming quickly into monsters and rampaging before their eventual death. Corvus, however, has a very slow transformation into a demon-like creature. His blood is an inky tar-like substance that congeals when exposed to air, preventing him from bleeding. His canines are sharp and his ears pointed. Short horns grow underneath his hair. In places where his skin is thinner such as his fingertips, ears, and inner mouth, the black blood secretes through his pores. Because of this he always wears gloves. His body is adorned with platinum armor that's outfitted with rare purple jewels. When he is eventually defeated his body unfurls into a beautiful field of Aconites, a poisonous but beautiful flower, as well as his namesake.

- Ski Lodge A:U An AU in which Corvus visits a ski lodge and breaks both his legs on the bunny hill. In this AU he is dating Kota, a ski instructor at the lodge.
