Though nobody knows what "Mel" is short for, most individuals tend to guess it is short for "Mellow" because that is this Elnin's #1 defining trait! That is not to say that Mel is lazy, but that things generally don't bother her too much. She is calm and collected and seems to know what she wants in life, which is just a whole lot of relaxing. Mel is rather friendly and is always quite hospitable. She never dreamed too big, remaining quite content with her lot in life, even as a Nestling.
She has her dream job too, spending each day hanging out in trees and picking fruit. Though she is expected to pick many fruits and berries, that doesn't stop her from gazing over the landscapes and merely appreciating the world around her. Not to mention, hanging around in a tree all day is the BEST!
