Haenim grew up training to be a hunter like most of her bloodline, but found her passion in music and singing. Her mother would often sing around the castle and home, Haenim loved to listen. Haenim would frequently sneak away from her training and during late hours to listen to her mother sing. After getting caught a few times, Nari offered to teach her daughter music and singing so long as she finished her daily training. Haenim was determined to learn and so she did exactly that, after each training session she would run to her mother for her lessons. Donam supported his daughter and was at least happy tha she was more motivated in training and lessons. Haenim and Nari would spend hours in the lessons, learning both to train her voice and to play various instruments. And she had a talent for it, Haenim felt it was her calling. Her parent supported her on this pursuit and even took her to many concerts & shows. Haenim was soon performing her own small shows and her parents even hosted concerts for her at the castle. Haenim faced the ups and downs of performing, but nothing slowed her down in her pursuit. That was until her mother would die in a fight with some demons.

The tragedy struck hard for the family, Haenim especially. It was her mother who taught her to perform and who was the one Haenim turned to for advise when she got nervous. Haenim found herself struggling to perform, she could even hold an instrument anymore. So for months things were quiet. The castle was silent and everyone noticed it. The princess was always a bright and loud soul, but she was now silent. Even after her training sessions, instead of running back to the house to the music room she quietly went to her room. Donam watched his daugther, saddened at her seeming loss of motivation. One night though, after Haenim returned from training, Donam would leave a gift at her door. Knocking before leaving. Haenim would answer only a bit later, finding the gift. It was her mother's favorite instrument, a Gayageum. The same one that Nari would play for her at night before bed, the instrumentt that took Haenim the longest to learn. The princess thought about how she struggled with the lessons and how her mother would show her how to move her hands. The time she stayed up late and fell asleep in the music room still holding the instrument. The pride when she finally performed a song perfectly on it. Her hands tightened around the instrument as she cried, finally let out the emotions she didn't want to feel. After sometime of crying she walked over to her father's room, the two stayed up late as Haenim played a song on the Gayageum.

Years later, Haenim is now Keollia's biggest popstar. Her new album, Aphrodite, hitting the top charts in a matter or days. She's gained fame for her unique style of mixing traditional sound with pop melodies. She took inspiration for the lesson from her mother and her love for the pop genre. Haenim always keeps her mother's Gayageum with her on tours and at shows. Sometimes performing songs she learned form her mother on stage. In many an interview Haenim tells that she performs for herself and her mother, knowing that Nari would never want her to give up. Haenim takes pride in her songs and performances, as well as her heritage. Although she persues her dream with her whole heart, she would never abandon her duty as the Lightborn Heir. She still remains both a capable fighter and a talented performer.
