Ryltohn "Ryl" Guillermo Talus

Ryl is my first fursona and the character I use for most RPs and branding and such. 

• The Basics
  • Ryltohn Talus is a gray and blue wingless dragon; generally he's mistaken for a weird rhino or plain lizard. Used to this, it doesn't bother him too much. Rather, he'll laugh and then give a solid punch to the shoulder. Or hack their technology. As a joke. Totally just a joke.
  • He has gray scales, wild spiky blue hair. A single blue horn rises from his muzzle (which has a single blue stripe as well), and usually there are three small spikes under his jaw (a spikebeard, if you will). His eyes are purple, varying shades that differ depending on his mood. On his right shoulder is a black tattoo of a chaos wheel.

• The Weird Descendant Thing
  • Ryl  is a reincarnation of a powerful ancestor (Bakaryu) who (instead of dying) split himself  into myriads of selves across countless dimensions, each living their  own autonomous lives and having their own abilities/traits/species/personalities. Each incarnation generally lives in blissful ignorance of the other incarnations or dimensions that exist. Those that do become aware generally try to kill others, in order to become more powerful.

• Abilities and Specialties
  • Being a water dragon, he has great control over water (including ice, steam, vapor, etc.). It is an ability he doesn't bring out often, often surprising people with it. 
  • Having made fighting a normal part of his life, Ryl is stronger than his size may suggest. His pain tolerance is also higher than average, though he always pays for it the next morning
  • His skills with technology are unparalleled, possessing a strange magic over it that lets him create almost anything as long as he has a basis to work with. He's also good with software and possesses astounding hacking skills.
  • Although most of his flexibility and parkour skills are forgotten, he had them at one point in time. Sometimes he can pull them off again.......sometimes.
  • More of a curse, Ryl is occasionally randomly transported into alternate dimensions. Many shenanigans have ensured through this. Telltale sign of this magic is his chaos wheel tattoo starting to burn. 
  • When angry enough, Ryl's hair turns red and he looses all of his water and general magic, replaced by control over fire. In this state, he is like a barbarian in bloodrage, focusing only on one goal and disregarding everyone and everything else, willing to do whatever it takes to achieve this goal. The dragon remains in this state until knocked out or his goal is achieved, and usually has no memory of this happening afterwards. After a few incidents in college, he swore off of ever becoming that angry again. So far, he's kept that promise.

• Backstory and Much More Relevant History
  • In college, Ryl became interested in fighting..or more specifically he was goaded into a boxing match, which he soundly lost. However, some friends decided to teach him...through the process of beating him constantly until he picked up some tricks and skills. Although not exactly good, he had fun with it and began looking into other forms of fighting, namely MMA and wrestling. After college, he worked IT for a business and joined the Anthro Wrestling Federation, where he spent most of his time when not working. In time, he became the de-facto leader of the federation. Although he wanted to keep it going, it slowly fizzled out and practically died.
  • Some time later, a shark named Zeal joined the federation, and helped Ryl get things running again. The two became close enough to consider each other brothers, and formed the Anthro Wrestling Federation Redux together, or AWFR, after a major system crash made them loose access to the original AWF. The dragon handled maintenance of the tech and media for the federation, occasionally stepping into the ring himself.
  • For personal reasons, Ryl later left the federation and opened a technology shop, "R-Spec Tech". Currently he runs that while being part of two other federations (Furry Pro Wrestling and Ultimate Superstar Alliance)
  • After FPW and USA seemingly ghosted Ryl, he started checking in on the AWFR at times again. Occasionally he fought in the ring there. More commonly, he fought in other venues (such as local gatherings of guys wanting to test/hone their skills).

At the moment, Ryl's life mostly consists of running his tech shop  with fighting as a major hobby.  He eagerly takes on a challenge and is glad to pick up new skills. 

• Random Facts
  • Ryl lives by the philosophy that no opponent is unbeatable...which leads to him often taking on challenges where the odds are not in his favor. Yet he generally looks forward to a rematch as long as the opponent didn't fight dirty
  • Although he doesn't have to drive often, he rather enjoys it. His personal car is a 1986 Mustang, manual transmission and convertible top.
    
  • He doesn't directly mention his hobby for fighting while running his store...but there is a few pictures of him in his wrestling gear with friends hanging on the walls. He often fights as himself, so anyone can easily recgonize him if they've seen him fight.
