Ducklingdance is a Moonclan warrior that enjoys the excitement of collecting and foraging. 

she's extremely happy and always has a bounce to her step. once you get Ducklingdance talking you can't stop her. 

---- not so brief backstory ----

her fathers are from two seperate clans (moon and sun). they fall in love and have her and her brother Goslingsnore. 

Duckling and her brother are born in Moonclan with their father Snakebite. Snakebite takes them to the border to meet their other dad, Cormorantskip. 

Duckling is given to Cormorantskip and she's taken off to Sunclan where she ends up being raised. It traumatized her a bit being weaned off her father so soon but she quickly adjusted. 

In sunclan she made friends with two furless kittens, Crackcrystal and Weevilwhisp. despite them being apprentices at the time she still followed them around like a lost puppy. 

the clans went into a long slumber where they all dreamt in this scary red and black environment. to free themselves the clans had to complete trials by these spirits. This is where Duckling lost her father, Snakebite to a murderous spirit. 

another friend of hers is Sunnysmile, also an apprentice at the time Duckling was first brought to sunclan.

she was mentored by a beautiful sunclan warrior by the name of Tansycrest. 

apprenticeship was smooth for her all the way up to her warrior ceremony where she was named Ducklingdance.

somewhere around this time her father Cormorant took him and her to Moonclan. This was especially traumatic for Duckling since this was her 2nd clan switch after making a life for herself in Sunclan. She had also gotten very close to Crackcrystal. they were girlfriends now separated by their borders. 

Duckling finds out about her dead mentor after being sent with a patrol to help sunclan recoup after a wolf attack. Tansy had died after defending her clanmates from the canine. 

while on Moonclan territory Duckling comes across a stray kitten by the name of Ghost. she ends up adopting this kitten and taking it back to moonclan.

in sunclan, Crack was pregnant with her and Duckling's kits. (same-sex couples are blessed with litters by starclan) 

duckling is shown a lot of backlash by a tom named Swiftmask for her halfclan blood. she ends up mentoring, Blackbirdnight, a young tom whose sister, Scarlet, is mentored by Swift. they decide to a truce for a few moons so the loner siblings can train together.

duckling finds out about the birth of her and Crack's kits through Sunnysmile, who she finds while on a patrol. 

duckling starts to withdraw from her brother after she starts seeing his odd cult-like behavior. she understands he's a medicine cat but still finds it a little concerning. she still loves him to bits & pieces.
