He lived a life of poverty in late Victorian England. His family owed debts to many underground figures, which eventually lead to the ruin of his family and death of his parents. As a last resort he did any work he could find to support his growing drug addiction, until one day he was chased down by one of the people his family owed. Just as he was about to die, he accidentally summoned a demon. He named said demon Lucien, who then took care of him and built him a new life of riches and power. His seal is placed on his palm and he always wears gloves due to this. He is heavily dependant on Lucien.
