Scott

Childhood

Scott was born as an only child and lived with both his mother, Margarita, and his father, David. He grew up as a rather social kid, and he loved going out and riding bikes with whoever was around in the neighborhood. He played baseball during the week and watched his Saturday Morning Cartoons on the weekend before trying to look for robot anime to watch. Robots were a big interest for him as a kid, and he would often beg his parents to get a computer, which was far too expensive.

Apart from his robot-filled daydreams and paper sculpture projects, Scott greatly enjoyed playing around with his cousin, Hal, as the two didn't live that far apart. They spent a lot of time outside and would often explore the woods behind Hal's house. Scott developed a love for exploration like this and would have a tight bond with his cousin. Hal would help him through rough patches in life, especially when Scott's parents split up.

Adulthood

After graduating high school with fantastic grades, Scott headed straight for university where he was deadset on studying robotics. While there, he met Hyung-Sol, he soon became a good friend and would eventually become his husband in the future. Getting through college with passing grades was difficult for Scott, but as he was on to his senior year, he started building his first prototype of Nico, an advanced AI and android capable of processing emotions and behaving similarly to a human. This project would last years until Nico was finished.

Once he graduated from college, Scott moved back in with his mom, struggling to find work related to his interest and degree. At this point, he came out to his mom, who was perfectly cool with it, since she kinda already figured (moms can be smart, what can I say?). Scott continued to work on Nico until his mom made him get a full-time job at a local factory. There, he met his good friend, Felix, whom of which would eventually help Scott with his business.

Scott eventually started running into constant disagreements with his mom as she really needed him to move out and start providing for himself. He didn't help much around the house when she wanted, and after one intense argument, Scott quickly found himself a cheap apartment to stay in. Some more time passes and he reconnects with Hyung-Sol, who miraculously is also looking for a place to live. They get together again and eventually save enough money to buy a decent house. Nico is now fully grown, and Scott starts to regret cutting contact with his mom.

Eventually, Scott becomes so burned out with work that Hyung-Sol advises him to look for a better job. So he quits and starts looking for a job while Hyung-Sol works tp pay for the house. The town's only barcade is seen to be at a business roadblock and is put up for sale, which grabs at Scott's attention. The old owner apparently was good friends with Scott's dad and was thus willing to hand down the business to Scott. The dude had no idea what to do until he got the brilliant idea that Nico could be a huge selling point for the business. One thing led to another, and now Scott owns a thriving-ish business.
