Kyōkotsu
a vengeful skeletal well dwelling yokai

Fumiro was the victim of an unfortunate accident. At least that's what everyone in his small village called it until he was forgotten generations down the line. One day his "accident" was the talk of the town, being gossiped about by all sorts and then no one remebered the name Fumiro Cho. His bones were never fished out of the well and that's where he laid to rest. The well went untouched for years and Fumiro's rage and depression only grew more and more each day alone, left stewing. Until one day something yanked on the ropes to his well.
