Daidekou (弟出光)

The wife of the gentle samurai Doumeki. She used to be a very anxious soul, until meeting the other akita in their youths when he was still a wandering ronin.
He sets her at ease and she brings him complete happiness. Now they are both in their advanced years and living peacefully in a home attached to a temple.

Her time outside of her temple duties - which she still likes to keep up with despite her age - include the making of paper fans and kokeshi dolls, that she will often gift to passing women or children.
Her favourite time of the year is the sakura season, and in the warm midday sun she can often be found sat beneath her favourite tree in the grounds, crafting, reading or napping.

A comfort character based on a pet of mine that passed on the 30th May 2021. I'll miss you Dee, you were my anxious bundle of joy.
