Kouga is a kunoichi and a shrine maiden, though she can easily be mistaken for a male due to her tomboy-ish haircut. She carries out her duties with loyalty and is very earnest. She is someone you can trust who will act as your eyes, ears and blade. Despite that, she actually really enjoys pleasant entertainment, and during her off-time she frequently shows many different expressions. Even though fighting is one of her many tasks, she actually dislikes battling as she can never find herself enjoying it. Usually quiet and shy around others outside of mission. She generally keeps things to herself unless prompted and has the tendency for being brash when angered. She is always worried about the people she cares around her. She is known for not just her creativity and skill on the battlefield, but also for her undivided loyalty to a cause she deems worthy to fight for.

History

During Kouga's childhood, her parents accumulated massive debts. Her parents feared that the loan sharks would hunt them down and decided to temporarily entrust Kouga to a trusted friend in the city until her parents could pay them off. They then left for another city. After 2 years, her parents managed to clear their debt by building professional network from scratch. When they return to fetch Kouga, they found out that their friend's house was burnt down. All reports suggested that their friend died in the fire along with Kouga. It drove their parents to despair. In reality, Kouga was kidnapped and placed in a brothel facility called The Velvet Pearl. Though, she didn't take part in any of the activities of the facility. She was instead secluded in her room where she was left with toys to play. The facility actually planned to use her for horrifying experiments, but was then raided by the Chiyome clan. They did not know children was being kept hostage. Kouga and Cain reunited and was brought to meet the clan's mother. Mother gave Kouga the choice, to accept the invitation of being in the Chiyome clan or go back to a normal, lonely life. Kouga ultimately decided to join the clan and started her path as a kunoichi and a shrine maiden.
