Tyoma is the older brother to Natalia and Nalia Vinogradov/Draki.
As a young man, Tyo was forced to kill his younger cousin because he was mentally slow, and was seen as a burden by Russian standards.
His cousin's name was Andrei, and his uncle and father were the ones to force his hand, Nalia and Natalia comforting him after the fact.
When his sisters robbed a Russian official, it left their family two choices: Forever be shamed and shunned, or turn on their sisters and hunt them down.
They sent Tyoma and Karp (Their youngest brother) to hunt the pair down.
At first they believed Natalia had killed Nalia, the main driving reason for Karp to help.

When they received word that she was still alive, they both started to feel conflicted.
But they at least knew where they were. America.
They started heading toward Spain during WWII, doing odd jobs to keep some money coming in before running into a boy named Andrei.
Andrei derailed their plans completely.
Tyoma immediately became smitten with the kiddo, and they helped the boy escape to Spain.

Where they ran into Baxter's family, the Basilios.
The Basilios got them in contact with Ferdinand's family in Ireland, as well as their sisters.
They spent a week in Ireland before heading to the states where they temporarily moved in with the Drakis, then into their own apartments.

Tyo sees Andrei as the universe trying to give him a second chance, and he loves that boy with all his heart. He raises him, and is very close, albeit a bit begrudgingly, with his sisters and nephews.
