Jasper McCartney

Jasper is the youngest from a family of three, however life wasn’t the best for them. His parents had gotten a divorce when Jasper was just around sixteen years old, the couple always arguing and yelling with each other as time went on--their marriage growing sour as the years went by. His parents constantly compare Jasper with his much older and successful siblings and blame him and his siblings for their broken marriage, often forcing the siblings to take sides in their marriage. The only thing that brought him some peace was music, and throughout the years as he was growing up--he started to learn how to play the guitar. It was long after he started to learn how to play that he began writing his own music.

By the time he was around eighteen, he left his house and his family behind. He started a new life and joined a band as their lead guitarist, occasionally even managing to sing his own songs while they were on the road performing. He spent the next few years of his life on the road, performing throughout the years and living the rockstar life. It was long after Jasper joined that his band became a hit in several areas, instantly gaining both fame and recognition everywhere they went--Kalos, Unova, Galar, you name it and they were known far and wide over there. Their band only getting even more popular as they added in more band members into their group, their newest set of band members becoming more like their mascots as they added in musical-like pokemon into the mix, with Jasper being paired up with a noibat that would hopefully evolve into an Noivern by their band managers. Things were looking up for Jasper, he was living a happy life--even if it wasn’t the most healthy of lifestyles as he dealt with issues involving alcohol and having an image of a persona that his managers and PR team wanted to help sell their music. Which worked well for his band, and has become a habit of his to fake.

However, it was during his time on the road that he experienced another life-changing moment--and one that wasn’t welcome for him. After performing and doing a fan’s meet and greet at Castelia City in the Unova region, Jasper had to excuse himself to go to the restroom before heading back to the hotel. It wasn’t until he left his bands and entered the empty hallway that he felt that he was being watched. Wasn’t unusual, people often looked his way nowadays due to them being fans or his face being recognized. However, what was different was the immense pain he felt in the back of his head as he was hit on by a blunt object--immediately passing out from the impact. Once he came too, his whole body looked different, and was somehow on an island with an uncomfortable brace around his neck. He is still adjusting to his life as this half man, half growlithe and is trying to figure out a way to get back his old body and return to his rockstar lifestyle.
