Father: Zodiac (entity like creature, origional a human in past life) Mother: Toto (Shapeshifter) More so of the dads species, having a small amount of shapeshifting powers (DNA and spellcasting) + Like his father, is a spellcaster and knows a large variety of spells. He is still learning, so failure of spells does happen. He is learning and taking lessons from his father still as theres many many spells to learn. He can indeed do spells his father cant do, but focuses his spells on non dark ones that can cause harm unlike what his father did when he was young + Like his father, he does not have any time limit or energy consumptiom when using spells, however he does get major side effects while casting depending on the type of spell/length he needs to hold the spell/strength of it. He will gradly follow rules of a place and use spells less or not use certian spells if called for + His parents are not a couple or in any way dating. He was created on accident during a one night stand (reason why his mother finally rejected female forms). His parents are good friend and on great terms with eachother, they both did raise him, mother offically leaving to go back to traveling across dimensions when he turned 12 at which his lessons of spellcasting becan with his father + An odd ability he has gained that neither parent possesses is teleportation. He can teleport somewhere at will, and this does not affect him at all unless he is transporting other people/heavy items with him. Thi ability was believed to have been obtained through the form his mother was in while being pregnant + when using magic whatsoever, his 'sight' appeares as well as his 'hands' (usually 5, 10 the normal max, but more can be summoned with cost to his energy).The 'hands' are able to do many things, but are mainly used for spellcasting as they are able to shift into desired shapes as needed. the 'sight' allows him to actually spellcast and have a second sort of 'sight' for this sort of magic Its more or less internal, not physically seen. Tho, its mostly relevant in hostile places, as it allows him to pass gene wise as a citizen or someone who has lived on the planet and not an alien that could be killed off Kinda affects most unless they have a tool that can tell his genes had warped or they have some ability when telling something can shapeshift any part of themselves (him its just genes or those magic hand arm things) or are those of higher powers in that world higher power = gods, deities, extremely powerful individuals, spirits that are powerful /forces of nature, etc. Ive used this sooo much without explaining it pft So by shapeshifting his DNA to hide himself among a species, what limitations does he have with it? changing what his blood registers as then In terms of alll the spells he knows, lots. Basically u can think about anything and he knows the spell for it bUuuut outta alll the spells he knows, really he only uses like maybe 10 or so compared to the hundreds he knows Most of the ones he knows he just dosent use out of respect for higher powers, just dosent need em, he views them as wrong, unable to do the spell himself, or just cant succed in casting that spell for example, he knows and technically could do like necromancy spells or reviving from the dead, but he views those as wrong so he would never use em but he knows how to Tho for a current list of spells he uses often, i dont have many as ima need ta think more buuut heres a few: + Levatation (primary items) + Web (ima need ta find an image to better explain this, but think kinda like floating touchscreen databases where he can find whatever information hes looking for. Others can see this but only he can touch it) + Illusions (usually of say animals or creatures if needed. Only has twice attempted and done fullblown ones) + Translator (he dosent write/speak english, he speaks in the language of his dads old home. This spell kinda summons a lil device that allows him and another to understand eachother when speaking or writing) Also a note as i thought on it, the hands shapeshifter is limited to only items and objects the web does have limitations. it does have all knowledge his father has taught him, buuut when it comes to somewhere new, he mostly just has access to whatevere information he can pull from anywhere on the planet the majority knows (so like the public, abit of upperclass ones but not major authority figures. like the major he could get info from but not say the military without permission). he has to be given access to more private information (or someone deciding to try and use him for hacking, hes not one for that unless forced to in a life/death situation) there is a radius since even tho he was born with that ability he dosent fully know how far he can go with someone/dosent always work as well as he wishes tho very rarely lol. by himself he can go pretty much anywhere, across planets/dimensions. but with another, its muuuuch more limited to just anywhere on the planet hes on. he more so limits himself to only teleport to say another country or city if hes teleporting with another as hes afraid of going farther since hes unsure if theres consequences of doing so (besides him loosing energy) or he teleports somewhere else entirely and bad things happen as a result of it
