Intro
Lucille, known better as Loosefoot Lucy, is a staple of Tricky's traveling circus. Lucy has well established her remarkable dancing talent, performing a variety of dance routines for her adoring audience. Many are captivated by her elegance and fascinated by her wide knowledge of dance styles.
Lucy intially joined Tricky's circus after her family disowned her; triclopes such as Lucy take great pride in their magic ability, however due to a birth defect, Lucy was born incapable of magic use.
Lucy's lack of magic does not hold her back from her passion; dancing!

Lucy is a subspecies of cyclops called a triclops; triclopes in Abirelle are hardly different from average humans, save for their third eye, horns, and pointed tails. Unbeknownst to some, a triclopes' most important feature is actually their horns rather than their third eye-- these horns serve as a source of magical energy.
Lucy's hair is styled into a bob; her bangs are parted in the middle as to keep her third eye visible. Lucy's eyes are pink, as are the soft freckles that dot her cheeks and nose. As with most triclopes, Lucy's tail is pointed into an arrow.
Lucy's wardrobe consists primarily of dresses and various tutus. She owns copious amounts of dancing shoes, including ballet flats and tap shoes.

About
Lucy is a kindhearted, albeit timid, ballerina working at Tricky's traveling circus. Lucy is known for being extremely shy, retreating back to her tent after every show to avoid talking to the audience. As a result, some fans feel Lucy is rather aloof. Aside from her fellow performers, Lucy has little in terms of friendships.
Though shy, Lucy has no stage fright. She has much confidence in her skills as a dancer, just not in her ability to communicate with others. Lucy is very knowledgable about dance in general; her favorite choreography is ballet, but she also has a keen interest in traditional dances from other cultures.
Lucy is very self conscious over her lack of magic. Having been teased over her inabilities as a child, Lucy can't help but feel a somewhat envious of others who can do what she cannot.
Trivia
- Lucy's full first name, Lucille, means "light". Her last name, Gainsboro, is actually a light gray color, meant to reflect Lucy's simplistic style and reserved nature.
- Most insects are very scary to Lucy, save for a couple.
- Lucy has a particular love for dragonflies, because she thinks they are lucky. She collections dragonfly charms and keychains.
- In addition to her dragonfly tricket collection, Lucy likes to collect antique fans that she sometimes incorporates into her dance routines.
- Lucy is friends with Heather, a fortune-teller also working at the circus.
- Lucy has also befriended Soleil and Luna, even though she finds their 9 ft stature kind of intimidating.
Magic and Abilities

Lucy does not possess any magical abilities. However, this is not typical for a triclops; normally, a triclopses' magical energy is sourced from their horns. Unfortunately Lucy was born unable to use magic as other triclopes can.
Triclops
Triclops are well renowned in Abirelle for their superior psychic abilities. A triclopes' outstanding magical power is sourced from their horns, but resonate within their entire bodies. The triclopes' psychic energy allows them several useful assets; it is common for a triclopes to possess more than one of these abilities, but extremely rare for one to exhibit all of them. This skill set includes levitation, telekinesis, foresight, telepathy, and clairvoyance. A triclopes may be born capable of any combination of skills.
However, the triclopes' lineage is far from perfect. This species is prone to several diseases and illnesses, including a birth defect that prevents the development of magic. Lucy is an example, born unable to use the magical abilities exhibited by her parents and siblings.
Triclopes are an extremely proud species. They take great pride in their psychic prowess, and as a result, are generally unwelcoming to triclopes who are unable to use magic. Referred to as squibs, triclopes such as Lucy who are incapable of magic are often victims of bullying and discrimination within primarily triclopes inhabited cities. Many squibs leave their hometowns early to live in more welcoming environments.
