Tara was a Vessel created by the Pale King as an attempt to seal the Radiance, but was discarded for having a mind, voice, and thought.
She managed to escape the Abyss, and ended up in Deepnest, where she would be taken in by Herrah before she went into her sleep. Following this, she was raised by Hornet, who named her Tara(derived from the tarantula, which her color scheme is based off of). Hornet gave her a needle and silk of her own and taught her how to fight with it. When Ghost returns to Hollownest, she tries her best to help Hornet any way she can.
