Ryker works for a local crime paper ( Deadspin ) writing articles on the grimmest crime scenes in the nation. He feeds off fear and happiness the strongest and most prominent of mortal emotions, finding crime scenes full of it. Ryker was a detective a one point, but his skills were better suited to questioning suspects and the higher ups didn’t like his fear tactics. He was let go. He holds some minor annoyance about the whole thing. Yet won’t easily talk about it. He’s found writing for the local paper to be 100% more enjoyable.
