Svetlana was a bit more sheltered in comparison to her brother, seeing as how Olga blames Iakov for Stanislav's cruelty. She often spent time in her room reading books and tended to her pet lovebirds, before her brother killed them for "making too much noise." Svetlana was distraught from this.

Following the Snakeskin-Dovich Treaty in the New Eyian War, she traveled with her mother to Nouveau where she met Agustin Castillo and immediately felt sorrow for him. She showed him kindness that he had never seen and the two became friends; he even caught her a dove because she expressed her sadness for her previous birds.
