Natsumi was born in a regular household, not from quirk marriage. Her parents both possessed relatively low-level quirks, her mother being able to absorb light to supplement her own natural energy ("Photon"), and her father being able to create small amounts of extra heat energy- not fire, but warmth ("Hearth"). Natsumi was born with both, and with a slight addition to it. She was a little shy as a child, being very small, but she always tried to be as friendly as possible. She often did community service in junior high, was a member of studen council. She didn't participate in sports much, but it wasn't quite to her fancy. On the side, she took up a hobby for sewing, and occassionaly knitting, crochet, or embroidery.

Natsumi didn't originally intend to become a hero, but she was highly encouraged by her friends and teachers in her last year of junior high. She decided to aim high, and applied to UA. She did well on both the written and practical test, scoring a good amount of 'hero points' in the practical for aiding some of her competitors. She began to make friends quickly, earning a reputation as a kind person very quickly, and something else began to develop very quickly as well. Another student in her class had caught her eye and her heart. His quirk was perfect with hers; he was able to create incredibly bright amounts of light and heat, but he had troubles with self-doubt and isolationism. Natsumi vowed to try her best to help him... and she did.

Quirk: "Nova"

Natsumi's quirk allows her to absorb light and heat energy and expel it in various forms, along with using it to sustain herself and her regular physical abilities. With her quirk comes her flaming appearance, which isn't dangerous in itself unless she activates it consciously or activates it unconsciously by experiencing extreme active emotion (anger, excitement, passion, etc). Extreme emotions such as depression, fear, or heartbreak will not stimulate her flames; they'll do the opposite. She is able to use her bodily flames to burn objects and create heat and light, and if she absorbs enough energy she can expel in in forms such as fire, intense light, etc.

However, with the ability to absorb light and heat energy, it must be constant. She is able to derive energy from food as a normal human would, but she must supplement herself constantly with pure heat and light energy. If she does not, her bodily flames go out, and she suffers headaches, nausea, and extreme fatigue. Sustained damage and exhaustion can speed up that process in any situation, unless enough energy is able to be absorbed. The exchange of energy must be equal, or there are consequences for Natsumi.

Trivia

• Although Natsumi is constantly on fire, her flames aren't deadly unless she fully activates her quirk. If touched, a person will only feel like their hand is being tickled.
• Natsumi's favorite fruit is an orange.
• Natsumi likes to listen to music, and to dance.
• As a hobby, Natsumi likes to sew and make clothes- both modern and more traditional styles.
