Personality: Quiet and reserved, considered rather cold by those who don't know him. Considered kind and a menace by those who do.
Backstory: Eirene was born to a pair of researchers in Elpis, and he eventually grew up to join them in that role. Though his parents were certainly kind to him, there was always a bit of distance due to his parents tending to care more for their work than for him. As such, Eirene himself ended up growing up rather detached, used to the neglect from his parents. He began venturing more and more out of Elpis, finding himself curious about the world outside of this perfect society that he lived in. And he found that he loved the feeling of exploration, loved going around and helping those he came across. It was on these journeys that he met Venat, still the Azem - one glance and she immediately took him under her wing, later leading him to become the next Azem once she stepped down.
Trivia
- In the cases where Rekrito is not the main WoL, while Eirene still goes out to explore, he never ends up running into Venat. He simply states his travels as being him wanting to see the creatures he observes in Elpis in their new homes...which is partially correct.
- Even among the Convocation, very few actually get close enough with Eirene to know what he's really like. To most, he's simply a rather cold and distant Azem who, although sends in his reports on time, causes and solves enough trouble that it makes their heads spin.
- Eirene's relationship with Venat is something akin to an older sister and younger brother. They are close, and Venat is one of the few that Eirene opens up to - but that also does not stop either of them from being absolute menaces to the other when possible (see: the time Eirene made a concept that would essentially set off a colored smoke bomb that would dye Venat's hair whenever she crossed its path, and the time Venat retaliated by making a concept that kept moving around Eirene's furniture).
- Eirene has the ability to see into the future, and this ability would eventually be passed down to Rekrito. He knew about the Final Days, and knew the source - and it pained him to know that there was nothing to be done.
- Seeing Rekrito was an odd thing, in his visions. He could tell that this being was him, just...different. He could also tell that Rekrito had faced much hardship - so, so much hardship. If Rekrito and Eirene were to ever meet, during Rekrito's time in Elpis, the first words out of Eirene's mouth would be an apology - that Rekrito had to exist to begin with, and face so much suffering, and a hope that he's managed to find happiness now.
