Ninigi rarely shows any emotions, nor does he react much to anything. Despite his short temper, his self-discipline is quite strong and rarely does his temper show outwardly. The only person to invoke remotely any positive emotions from him is Amaterasu.
He often has on a poker face and speaks in a monotone. Ninigi has been called Amaterasu's puppet or doll by others behind his back. Not that it bothers him. He doesn't care much for anyone who is not his Goddess.
Ninigi is Amaterasu's right-hand man and the executioner of the spiritual world. His job is to strike down and punish those who goes has broken laws of the spiritual realm, or wayward yokais that causes chaos and imbalance between the human and spirit realm. He does not actively hunt down feral/out of control yokais like exorcists would, but if he deems it an inconvenience to Amaterasu, he will eradicate it.
Ninigi takes on many forms as he travels. His true form is a tall, athletic young man in his late twenties or early thirties, but his most common form is that of a 11-13 year old child. This is because Amaterasu finds him quite adorable in that form and likes to spoil him as her precious child, and he so he frequents that form to make her happy. However, when performing an execution or when he needs to apprehend a spirit or yokai, he will take on his adult form.
Ninigi is one of the members of Amaterasu's council.
