 (WIP)

Tiusha is the 18 year-old daughter of the Gerudo matriarch and second in the succession to the throne.

Gifted with an extraordinary fighting ability, she was soon directed towards military career and was bestowed by her grandmother with the legendary Scimitar of the Crescent, which holds a mysterious power that will be unraveled during the game’s course.

However, alongside her skills, Tiusha developed a feisty attitude and a strong dislike of rules: known amongst her people for her extravagant fashion style, which she takes pride in, and her stubbornness, she got multiple times into trouble with the Gerudo army’s general. In fact, she tends to skip training to get fun and party with her friends, disappointing her mother and her more responsible sister, Birye. as an act of despair, the latter took the temporary decision to get Tiusha away from the Citadel in order to make her witness the harsh reality outside the tribe.

She ultimately settled in Kakariko village, after she spent all the money she had in clothes and jewellery. There she met Nanas, a Sheikah man, who offered to host her for free in exchange of working in his souvenir shop. Without other alternatives aside from freezing, she reluctantly accepted: despite she didn’t like the place nor the job at first, she grew to like it, mostly because of her crush on Nanas, who doesn’t return her feelings and is often annoyed by her. There she also met Link and Zelda, who sheltered her after their tragic attempt to first save Hyrule.

Tiusha is a loyal friend, who matures during the course of the adventure: with her mostly involuntary humor and her bravery, her role will be fundamental to Hyrule’s salvation to the point to escort Link in his adventure or to bear the Triforce of Power, subtracted from Ganondorf, when Zelda’s too weak to hold the full artifacts. Her relationship with both of them helped Zelda to be more spontaneous and know better about her own feelings and wishes while she taught Link some swordmanship and general combat techniques. She learnt from both to be more patient and less materialistic.

Despite her frequent quarrels with them, she loves her family and she’s genuinely worried about the news that her sister got missing; in order to find her, she joins Link in his interdimensional journey.

Tiusha doesn’t think too much before speaking and, unlike her close friend Zelda, prefers to step immediately into action: while usually criticised by the princess, her impulsiveness saved her from being captured by Ganondorf’s army while the princess was still emotionally and physically weak. Even though she received an education worthy of a matriarch’s daughter, she didn’t assimilate much of it, as it’s evident in her speech patterns (similar to Roman dialect in Italian, Bronx’s speech in English or, more canonly, a thick Gerudo accent) and her ignorance of what the real world is like, shared with Zelda.

From being the temporary holder of the Triforce of Power, Tiusha benefited earning a stronger sense of responsibility, but at the same time she struggled to contain the entirety of its powers, which may or not may have consequences into the story.
