Retainer to King Fafnir Tezcacoatl, Gunther is a large man with a large appetite for life. He was responsible for raising Chigai when he was just a boy, whenever Fafnir had been absent, playing the role of a babysitter. As a young man, he and Fafnir knew each other well, especially as Fafnir was first seated as the king of Nohseyrnas-- And Gunther was appointed as his closest guard, the first of his kind to be called a "royal retainer," a title only bestowed upon a few people closest to that of Nohseyrn royalty, who assist their lord or lady with almost every second of every day, in exchange for living space, a large sum of money, and land. Gunther personally has a certain affection for wealth, jewelry, and gold, but it's more of a personal hobby-ish kind of thing. He uses an axe enchanted with magic that summons gold whenever something is destroyed with it. Every day is a moral battle.
