Once she reached adulthood she gained some autonomy, and eventually began to question her faith, going as far as to experiment with magic in private. Once the day of her ascension came, she was struck by the heavens - denied. Theadora knew why, yet the rest of the church was in shock. They began to believe this was a blessing onto them, that Theadora was to stay and lead the Church, blissfully unaware of the true reasoning.
