Bluefern is a small but muscular cat, she has dense fur that is sleek and great for swimming. Her paws are white, and she has blue-ish points. The pattern on her tail gives the appearance of a fern.

Bluefern is a serious and hard-working cat that takes no shit and gets things done. She is never afraid to tell older or higher ranking cats when she thinks their ideas are dumb.

Despite her small size, Bluefern is a skilled fighter, using her light weight and speed to her advantage. She likes patrols most of all. Though she has no actual dislike for Marrowclan cats, she is willing to scrap when given the chance. She is often a good patrol leader, as she is assertive and observant, though these things can make her harsh. While she is quite level headed and reasonable, Bluefern is quite stubborn in her ways. She is very stiff and formal, and finds it hard to make close friends easily. However, if you are her friend, she will gladly fight and die for you.

Blue is very protective of her family, especially after the death of her brother Stonefang. Sometimes this can come off as possessiveness or over protectiveness.
