Ame is the definition of "oddball", having gotten quite the reputation for her strange and downright peculiar behavior. At almost any time she can be found raindancing in her office of her mafia headquarters-- and often, the raindances work! Due to this it's often raining nearby the HQ, which steers many foos away from the location. The weirdest thing? Ame is the leader of this mafia family, and they obey her orders no matter how ridiculous they might be.

Very often she orders things like "hide candy all through the city" or other silly things. More often than not they're minor pranks or actually helpful objectives for her foop family. In a way, it's a very positive mafia, and they don't appear to condone violence... but that may just be an outward appearance Ame chooses to keep up to hide the sinister possibilities behind the scenes.... but who knows! Not many people know exactly what she's thinking, and even though she's often cheerfully dancing there are some who swear they saw evil in those happy eyes.

Ame's past is very much a mystery, no one knows where she came from, who hatched her egg-- nothing. There's no history before the creation of her Mafia Family, no traces of her have ever been found anywhere else. And no one is brave enough to ask her, not that she seems like the type to talk. Maybe it's a Mafia Boss thing?

The creation of her Family was slow and steady; at first everyone laughed at her attempts until she met a Fooling by the name of Azazel, who seemed to be well respected (or feared) by his peers. Despite their clear outward and initial appearances the two hit it off completely. Azazel had a side that no one had seen but Ame, and she quickly convinced him to join her mafia family as the first new member and help her run in... to everyone's surprised, the normally stoic Fooling agreed. He remains her most trusted ally to this very day, and it is because of his appearance and attitude that the mafia family is now thriving more than ever. Because of him other Fooling started to take it more seriously, and Ame couldn't be more grateful even though she has an odd way of showing it.

No one's quite sure if what Ame is doing is for the greater good or evil, and everyone is wary about her actions, but there's nothing anyone can do. They can only wonder what she might try to do next.

• Don't mess with her family, or you'll have a lifetime of thunderstorms haunting you.
• There are times she simply disappears-- often when someone from the Foopopo are coming around, only leading people to further suspect that there may be illegal activities mixed in with their seeming innocent escapades.
• Most of her family remains anonymous, but the few who openly follow her are not to be trifled with-- after all, this is a mafia at the end of the line.
• No one knows why she's so obsessed with raindancing, and even her closest friends don't seem to know the story.
• Azazel is her most trusted friend, she will tell him anything and everything. The two of them get along incredibly well even though no one understands why.
• It is unknown if she only does the small pranks and odd good deeds, or if there's something sinister behind those walls.
• New people who see her don't understand how other's fear her... until they watch her for a while. If the odd behaviour doesn't set you off, the company she keeps will.
• Ironically, she doesn't tolerate dishonesty. If you lie to her and she finds out, you're dead to her... possibly literally.
• If you're good to her, she'll return the favour ten-fold if she can. She's one to be flamboyant, and loves the spotlight.
• They've caught her teaching Azazel to rain dance on more than one occasion, and have never let him live it down. He has never been successful, though.
• She's known to give roundabout, inconsistent answers, only adding to her mystery.
