Ikura Uzumaki

Ikura is a samurai warrior previously loyal to the Land of Iron, the only one capable of using chakra chains and one of the strongarms of his faction. He wasn't originally from the Land of Iron, however, as he is of Uzumaki blood. Ikura is originally from Uzushiogakure, the Land of Whirlpools before its destruction. He was a Shinobi of his homeland experimenting on fuinjutsu before the jutsu he crafted broke and transported him to the future. He was discovered by residents of the Land of Iron, treated and cared for before he was placed under training and joined their army as a form of gratitude, pledging his loyalty to the village to protect it until he could fix the fuinjutsu that got him here in the first place--to get him back home.

One day on patrol with his assigned faction, they were ambushed and massacred by enemy nin and Ikura was left broken and beat yet alive---but with no memory of who he was or what he was doing there. Dazed and only able to remember his name, he stumbled through the woods bleeding with his samurai armor and began his long journey to discovering who he really is. On the way, he met two girls, Hanako and Yori, whom he vowed to protect and mentor them as they grow and travel with him.
