Mopsy is an animatronic mountain lion* residing at [PHONE GUY’S FNAF 1 LOCATION REDACTED]. He was manufactured as a late addition to the location, so he’s not terribly well-acquainted with his fellow performers, nor does he share their, erm, motives. Really, he’s just happy to be included.
Though dangerous, Mopsy is easily distracted. When he appears in your office, you can appease him by giving him a toy from the prize counter. Give it to him fast enough, and he’ll leave happily with his new friend. Take too long, or give him the wrong item, and he’ll jumpscare you with his prehensile tail and tongue. After his jumpscare, Mopsy will hold you down, waiting for another animatronic to show up and finish the job. If no animatronics enter the office after 60 seconds, Mopsy will leave you be. However if one does show up, it’s game over.
*he is a regular lion. Afton and Emily thought that naming him after a smaller, less aggressive animal might make him less intimidating to children. Mopsy frightening children, as it turns out, was the least of their problems.
