Azhdaya

Personality: Long before the days of Azhdaya, Rubius was always a bright fellow. Kind, caring, and open-minded, he always loved to spoil his family and then-wife, Libelle. Both he and Libelle had been close since childhood and soon got together after becoming official Sealers. While extremely serious on his Sealer duties, he was much more relaxed and playful off duty. He always dreamed of becoming a father with Libelle, dreaming of raising a child to teach Sealer magic with.

After the events of Azhdaya, he has become much more solemn and depressed, still fretting on the past. Sometimes he regrets what he's done, sometimes he doesn't. Through the eyes of the original dragon Azhdaya, he learned he has a daughter and is absolutely determined to meet her no matter what.

Backstory: Azhdaya was originally born Rubius Nuri with a younger twin sister to two loving parents. As per tradition, Rubius took up learning Sealer magic and surpassed many students then. When he was young, he was partnered with a young Libelle to learn more about magic together. They grew closer as they aged, eventually falling in love, and marrying.

One day, the couple were fighting against a most terrible demonic dragon of darkness named Azhdaya. They were close to victory until Azhdaya took advantage of a weakened Rubi and possessed him because of his divine power. Initially, Azhdaya had planned to kill his human vessel and Libelle, but then his plan turned much more wicked: he cursed Libelle to become pregnant with a dragon child of her own. With this curse, he spared her life and took Rubi away to the darkness.

It was because of Azhdaya that he missed his daughter's birth and many more significant events of his child.

Two decades later and Rubi returns, still under the possession of Azhdaya. Libelle, who had teamed up with many peaceful dragons, stepped forward to challenge him again. When the dragon ended up blinding his beloved wife, something in him awoke.

Before Libelle could officially kill Azhdaya, Rubi used his greatest sheer force of will to break out of the possession and sacrificed himself by sealing both Azhdaya and himself back in the darkness for good.

He would then spend the next millennia alone in the dark, continously fighting against this demonic dragon.

Eventually, he manages to completely destroy this dragon. In exchange, for Azhdaya's permanent death, he sacrificed his humanity and became one with the dragon, taking his name in his place.

He finally breaks out of the seal, determined to take back his life, atone for his sins, and meet his long-lost daughter.

• In both the past and present, he's an absolute sucker for sweets, especially for chocolate.

• His newborn dragon form stands at an incredible 40 ft tall!

• Unfortunately, he still has yet to meet his daughter but he won't give up!

• He is unable to conceal his dragon arm and leg as a side effect from his last battle. He can instinctively sheathe his claws from both hands and teeth when provoked and angered.

• He's VERY oblivious and out-of-touch with trends these days due to his time in the void. Best not to be too harsh on him.

• Surprisingly good at telling dad jokes and making people laugh.
