this shy boy was the original dazai, i swear. me and my cousin elle were planning to move in to a house that was numbered 216 even. on my birthday my parents wrote "216" on my cake with frosting... the time/clocks were constantly set to 2:16..... we would get exactly 216 of everything, or 216 lbs, or $2.16 price,,, ......on february 16th we would celebrate "216 day". and not just that but everyone in my family would talk about him on the daily, introducing him to ppl like he's some sort of cult,,,,,,,,

Aww, I genuinely love that. :D He must have been really special to you. I think it's really nice to have a character, whether it's from an existing franchise or a character that you've made yourself, that has an impact on to you to that extent. I also love that you even got your family into it. I think I would want to join the cult of 216, too. xD You're totally right, though; he's adorable. Are the brown, fluffy things at the end of his hair hair accessories or just part of his hair? They're really cute, regardless. ;v; It make me think of animal ears.

My character, Dante, is almost like that for my sister and I. He gets brought up in some way multiple times a day. We'll literally just roleplay as him irl-- although it's this bastardized version of his character where he's whiny and somewhat obnoxious. We also talk about Mr. Hurts-a-Lot and Quack Bear a lot. Mr. Hurts-a-lot is basically supposed to be like antithesis to Quack Bear, where he's like this horrible, extremely rude little bear that constantly goes "Uwaa!!" QB would help you do the dishes, but Mr. Hurts-a-lot would just start throwing them onto the floor.

Oh, okay! I appreciate the clarification. That makes a lot of sense as to why I thought they looked like he had animal ears-- They are animals ears. xD I adore this timid doggo. I think I'm going to have my kemonomimi characters be their own species, possibly with them each having a their own species name depending on what type of animal they resemble. So, instead of just calling 216 a "dog kemonomimi", his species would have its own unique name (that I haven't thought of yet).

Mr. Hurts-a-lot Is able to go human, just like Quack Bear! I have not drawn his human form yet, my sister made her own version of him. I think I have listened to a total of 1 Slipknot song in my twenty-something years on this earth, but Mr. HAL is apparently a big fan of them. :p I can just imagine Quack Bear just silently fuming. Little guy has to put with a lot!
