Ione was born within Lake Trio of Yurina, and had lived with her parents well after she had reached maturity. Unfortunately, however, she was ultimately pushed away by her father once a sensor had been damaged. She had gotten it damaged by hunters, those who believe that tsunakeen are just hurting their catch ratio. They had thrown small bombs into the water, and she tried to get away. Unfortunately, she wasn't quick enough, and she was caught in the fire. Thankfully she didn't sustain many injuries, but it maimed her sensor, and so it caused the spikes hidden within the light spots along her body to be perpetually left out. She could no longer hunt for herself, and so was chased away by her father. She traveled across dry land until she could no longer wander, and so found herself in a strange Loch. It was here she met Brontes, and they became adopted siblings. He allows her to stay and even takes her hunting. She is happy here, with her siblings, and feels like she can finally belong and do her part.
