She was born and raised in Green Acres Ranch, and was ultimately sold to the family who owned a distant relative of hers when she was a year old. She stayed with them and they trained her to eventually become a race horse, but the way they taught her was something out of the ordinary. They whipped her and beat her for little to no reason and they ultimately stopped feeding her. She grew skinny, to the point where she could barely stand anymore and her ribs clearly showed. After a time, thankfully, certain officials were sent to the property and confiscated Aspen. It was at that point they nursed her back to health and she was sold to new owners. She was trained, once again, to be a race horse and was trained successfully. Since then, she had won two blue ribbons. She is now content with her new life, however is rather leery around strangers, as well as men and even other horses. She can be rather isolated, but can socialize if forced enough.
