Niku was a student at Cuore Puro Magic Academy. Due to an unfortunate circumstance of her birth, Niku was not able to create normal magic. All spells she casted would be immediately transferred into dark/blood magic. If she were to cast healing on someone, the spell would instead siphon the health from her target. Because of all her mishaps in spellcasting, her classmates deemed her unlikeable and strayed away from socializing with her. Even people in her town caught word of this and refrained from social interaction as much as possible. The social isolation caused Niku to retreat into her fantasies and create an inflated image of herself where she isn't as horrible as everyone believes she is, and that she's actually "really fucking awesome." The title that she thought up of her fantasy self is "Princess Meatfucker of the Candy Realm."
Niku has an enormous golden rifle that she convinced all of her classmates that she could "summon" it when it's really stolen. Her classmates expected nothing less of the zombie.

In her school days, Niku's arch nemesis was Doux Cherie, who was the complete opposite of Niku. Cherie was loved, outgoing, and very skilled in blessed magic. Niku hated her guts for this very reason.

Pre-evil arc

Before Niku was evil, she was just a hopeful girl who wanted to learn magic. She never knew that she would be a fabled evil demon that needed to be destroyed by someone of pure heart. She thought she could just change her fate, but eventually decided to comply by rebelling. She learned how to create a tunnel to a pocket dimension, her mortal body dying and creating the zombie-cat-wolf person that she is now.
