Ratliff has a very friendly and open personality. So open that he just have to speak out every single thought that crosses his mind. And this mind is in constant zick-zacking. Both these traits; the talking and restless mind, is because of too many experiments on him. Still he managed to not loose his happy spirit, which was also partly because he met Bellatrix.
Ratcliff can't remember much from his time before the research facility. Mostly scents and feelings. Like how his mother smelled or how much fun he had in the water. Then came the Pacifers to take him for being what he is; a hybrid. The experiments were cruel and painful. The guards ignoring him at best and the scientists treating him like an object, all except for one. The new guard. From that day his dull and painful days got a little brighter. She was different. Still bound to what she had learned, but Ratcliff could see that she didn't like it. So he started to talk with her. Reluctant at first she answered, but as the time went on they got more open and happy. He found out her name; Bellatrix. And she didn't care for how weirdly he had started to talk and that he hardly could hold a single thought for long anymore. No, she saw nothing more but a nice, curious and sometimes even naughty Mur.
They liked conversing so much that they eventually fell in love, and with that everything changed completely. Bellatrix managed to get him out of the facility, but instead they now had to live as slaves. Yet he didn't care. Now he could be together with her more close than ever and even if life was harsh... at least they had each other. They survived and after years of pain and love, their spirits were still unbroken and they tried to rebel against their masters once more. Of course it was for naught. Their small rebellion crushed they got punished. Still, something good came out of this and it came in the shape of a red fox with wings.

Lover
Never had he thought that such a beauty could fall in love with such a damaged mind like himself. Nonetheless it happened and he wouldn't want it any other way. All the hardships both of them had to endure brought them closer together. He always had seen the cute and girly side of her, even back then. A circumstance that he never cease to mention. Not even during an all out fight.
Adoptive daughter
Together with Bella he managed to rescue this cute little Mur from despair. Since then she got attached to both of them, especially to Ratcliff. He doesn't know why, but he seems to remind her of her lost brother. He actually doesn't mind this at all. For him this kin is a constant source of excitement and they both often make charms together or search for pretty stones.
Friends
He's very good friends with the rebellion's core member. Then again, he never had any problems making friends at all. His nature and good spirit easily makes him likeable, even though only some understand what he say completely.
- Sniping: He's well versed in many kinds of ranged weapons, but prefers the slingshot over all. With it's variety of darts, bombs and bullets he can provide excellent support in any circumstance.
- Cetus traits: Since he's part cetus Ratcliff can swim better than most others. He has even got thin membranes between his fingers and toes which helps even more and a set of gills hidden under his fur.
- Close Combat: Even though he isn't the strongest, he's still very fast and can outmaneuver many foes. During close combat he would change his slingshot for a chain sickle which provides both ranged as well as close quarter support.
- Charged: Due to the many experiments he got infused with electric properties. Similar to Nathizet he can zap other people fataly. Though this abilities has its drawbacks. First it left his mind in the state of constant thinking and talking. Not being able to hold a thought for long and having a hard time getting back to a specific topics. Second, during thunderstorms he's like a giant antenna. Any lightning bolt would rather aim at him as a nearby tree and whoever touches him during such a storm will get zapped if Ratcliff wants it or not.
- Ratcliff's tail tip is cut off and he has two cuts in his left ear.
- He got several scars over his body. Most noticeable is the one over the tip of his nose and left eyebrow.
- He wears large baggy pants and a cape to hide things in.
- He also got big red-tinted glasses, because he thinks they look cool.
- His weapons of choice is the slingshot and chainsickle.
