Yuval ben Tfila

Yuval is a character concept for a homebrew 5e campaign a friend and I got into through reddit, but that
never actually ended up happening. Yuval is extremely reasonable, slightly reserved, and generally keeps
themself out of trouble. His mother, Tfila, wants him to get out of the house and act out like a teenager
should— she encourages him to go on a camping trip with his childhood/family friend, Yojuni. Yojuni is
batshit, and has been since they were a child— they climb trees, hunt with their hands, and jump from
heights with reckless abandon. While Yuval is hesitent, they (mostly) trust Yojuni and can’t really do
anything about Tfila voluntelling them to leave the house. Were the campaign to have happened,
the two would have been found by the party while on their trip.

Yuval is of elven heritage, but he’s fade-touched (a homebrew race our DM added to the setting). Essentially,
fade-touched are like if druids were a race— they’re green, grow plant matter on their skin, and come with
some other nature-focused quirks. One is fade-touched when an angel or demon decides
to charm a baby to become such (Yuval was turned by “Halo Boy"). 

Yuval’s and Yojuni’s families became acquainted when their children were the only two babies in the village to have
turned green. Tfila and Yojuni’s parents wanted the two to grow up knowing eachother, should they both be bullied
for how they look; while they don’t really get bullied, they do get mistaken for eachother pretty consistently.
