Elsie is the definition of a hopeless romantic, someone who loves the very thought of romance and everything to do with it. It doesn't even have to involve her directly she simply can't get enough. Although it can be overwhelming for people who aren't aware of it, and it's caused it's fair share of breakups for her as well... but she gets back into the swing of things pretty quickly, and her relationships are always on fire. The only real problem with her is the sheer amount of expectations she has for her partners-- flowers, cheesy movies, the whole deal. It can be cumbersome to the other party.

This doesn't stop her, though, and she's an incredibly upbeat and positive individual who can't be put out for long, she will always bounce back. Although her heartbreaks can be rather melodramatic if she's left on her own too long for the day she's upset. Of course, if the relationship had lasted a long time it may be a month or more before she's properly back on her paws. She is not the type for rebounding.

When she was small Elsie's caretaker could tell she was going to be a very passionate Fooling, with goals no one could ever take away. The old Fooling always supported her little ones strange desires and tried their best to raise her the best they could. She was a very energetic Fooling when she came from her egg, right from the get go-- the second she got her paws under her with any sort of stability. She was like a fireball that no one could hold down and that energy only excelled as she aged. Now she happily hops through her nation through rose coloured glasses, firing hypothetical Cupid's arrows at anyone and anything she deems an acceptable couple-- only if they have a chance of making it, though.

There is multitudes of couples who thank Elsie, and she's almost regarded as a "love guru" by her friends. If you want to meet someone, walk around with Elsie, chances are you'll find the one for you with her by your side, and you'll make her day in the process. The only one who has consistently stumped her match making capabilities is Sinder, who also avoids her as much as he physically can. According to him she makes him incredibly uncomfortable and "he's perfectly fine the way he is", which others would agree with. Elsie however is hell bent that he needs someone special in his life. Initially everyone was confused as to how the two Foolings knew one another, but it was discovered that both are members of Ame's Mafia family, although both of their roles remain unknown. Elsie is very fond of Sinder, while he wishes she'd stay away.

She's the type to be friends with everyone and hates unnecessary conflict, although she can be a real fire starter once someone sets her off, and is described as a relentless monster who should be avoided at all costs until she calms down. Once she does she'll be back to her old self after a slice of cake.

• Elsie can have an odd habit of trying to play Cupid, which can come off as annoying to her friends if they're not looking for a relationship-- but she's usually right, and most couples she gets together stay together
• Her first ever "couple" she put together was two pet goldfish-- who were both female, but she will swear they were in love and isn't aware her friends put the "baby" goldfish in the bowl without her knowing. Jimmy, to her, will always be a boy despite her friends having renamed her Jimmette
• She won't admit it, but she writes love songs in her journal almost every day. Most are incredibly sappy to the point some people may gag
• If you do see her angry, run. Run very far away because you angered a relentless monster
• When she's worried she bakes, and she bakes a lot. She supplies her nation with baked goods when she's worried... which creates an odd, but tasty problem
• Her favorite thing to bake is Devil's Food Cake, in her beloved heart shaped pan--or, if she's angry/upset she'll often bake it in an odd fish shaped pan. No one can explain the reason for this strange habit
• She is also a member of Ame's mafia family, although her role is unknown and no one can figure it out
