Nim is a human born with the ability to see into the supernatural world. This is because instead of being born with a halo like the rest of humanity, she was born with a third eye. She is able to see everyone else's halo, along with ghosts. This ability allows her to identify Felix as a non-human entity because he is void (without a halo). She does not entirely understand why she has these abilities, and doesn't know the extent of them. She keeps it a secret.
Nim is an introvert who gets along better with ghosts that her living colleagues. She struggles with understanding how to socialize and often comes across as anti-social. But she is a kind-hearted yet independent person who would do anything for the few people she is close with.
