Caelan found Ysolde as a hatchling and took it upon themselves to take care of her. Since then, Ysolde has always been at Caelan's side or in close proximity of them. She keeps an eye on Caelan and protects them from the many dangers that lurk in the forests. Ysolde can sense if someone has malicious intentions and will warn Caelan or even attack those that she deems dangerous.
Love interest
Caelan is completely and entirely enarmored with Yvette for reasons they themselves cannot quite explain. Perhaps it is love on first sight?
Friend
Caelan was one of the first who found Jeremiah after he was revived by the forest spirits. They felt pity for him and kept him company for a while, in hopes that he will eventually remember who he is and what had happened to him. Caelan helps Jeremiah to take care of the forest.

Caelan helped reunite Jeremiah and Rosalind. They inform Rosalind of possible dangers to the forest that her husband is forever bound to. Since Rosalind refuses to leave the forest unsupervised, Caelan takes it upon themselves to provide her with provisions from the nearby villages.

Caelan admires Jaspar's courage and determination to lift his mother's curse. Because Jaspar is against Caelan joining their party at first their relationship has a rocky start, but grows and deepens over time.
