Sun is recruited to join the new clans, when Cascadestar watches her hunting skills in action on a border patrol. The two didn't start off on the best of terms, but soon grew very close.
In the clan, Sun proved her worth as both a warrior and a hunter, so she was given her warrior name rather fast. She actually suggested her own name, since her pelt color is very close to that of the sun.

He's a very strange cat. I mean, he watched me hunting and I never even noticed him, how'd he do that?! I don't have the same belief in this... Starclan as him, but I'll try and believe, just for him.
