About

From the day Qoh was born it seemed she was destined to be cursed. She was born into a cult dedicated to Zyphus in The Shadow disctrict of Magnimar. The cult was small but hotly dedicated to their master Zyphus. Earlier in the cults lifespan, to pledge their alligence to Zyphus fully, many of the original members copulated with Daemons from abbadon in order to get closer to the horseman. Of those that did not directly participate in the physical side, they instead took on large amounts of energy that equally mutated their descendants. As such many of the cults current members are Daemonic Nephilim all derived from the same seed, such is the fate for Qoh as well. For Qoh this misfortune followers her everywhere as a miasma of badluck of and unfortunate happenings

Despite being indoctrinated into the cult from infancy Qoh's heart was not set on it. She saw the cult for its evil, its desire to kill people with misfortune so that their souls make it to Zyphus, though she feared if she dared ever speak about it she too would become a soul sent to him. Her belongings were scarce, but her most prized possession was a cow skull she was permitted to buy from the market. The way it was painted was for whatever reason alluring to Qoh, and ever since this skull has become something she confides in and talks to as a friend.

Qoh spent often trying to find ways to escape, but the cult was too watchful, too small, and too monitered for her ever to find the time. Not to mention, even if she did flee, what could become of her? Where would she go? Could they find her and if they did what would they do? She lacked money as the cult's tithes were spent exclusivly by those in power, and Qoh's appearance as a Daemonic Nephilim seemed to make people weary of her existance; in town she caught the glaring leers of people on the street. Even so, she planned and yearned for a chance to present itself.

Finally though this day arrives, on an important holiday for the cult, they were to have a ritual that would require all hands to be present to perform. While everyone was distracted, she ran, and did not stop, only taking with her the clothes on her back and the skull she cherished to deeply. She ran all the way from the Shadows district to The Shore when she gave out from adrenaline and collapsed in the street. She awoke in the company of a Vanaran man, within his temple home. He had provided her a bed, something to drink, and seemed to be waiting for her to stir. At her awakening he greated her and introduced himself as Roprutu, as priest of Korada who resides her in Magnimar. The two get to talking and Qoh explains her entire situation to him, feeling suprisingly calm and at home in Rprutu's pressence. The king man offers her the ability to stay within his home provided she follow his religous epitets and rules. Qoh's understanding of such practice from her time with the Zyphus cult agrees and begins to obey and follow Roprutu's guidance. Before she realized it, she was able to calm down, and find peace within herself, though her tumultuous past and anxiety would occasionally overwhelm her.

Qoh was never intended to be an apprentice of Roprutu, but as her only friend at present, he became both a teacher and a father. Qoh wanted to find peace like him, to have a calm heart, and be fear of fear. She wanted to perhaps save some of the Zyphus cultists too, and see if their hearts could be turned from this evil to peace. Her devotion to the cause became very serious, and eventually she tried to awake to clerical powers but was unable to, instead what magic awoke from within her was not divine, but occult brough about from her blood. She awoke to Abberant Sorcerer magic, and this reminder of her bloodline set her back a little in her endevours. To her it was a perminant reminder of who and what she came from, but Roprutu assured her that peace obtained through strife is the most sweet to taste. Reassured, Qoh took his words to heart, and departed his home to find answers about who she was, and what she could be, and of course ultimately how to finally be comfortable in her on skin.
