Blind like any other bat, Aurelie had to rely on her other senses to ''see'. Her strongest one, minus echolocation, is touch. And because of this, the woman comes off as a very physical individual, touch, is also one of the only ways she can fully express her emotions. With her sight impaired, her vernacular abilities are a bit hampered. It is hard for her to articulate what she feels as she can not quite name them. She lacks the ability to correlate visual language with verbal. That is just one of her many quirks though, she often sings/hums when she needs to 'see' things and lives in a semi-permanent dark state because it makes her feel comfortable. Despite her glaring flaws and being aware of it, Aurelie is content and confident in who she is.
