Flowerings are born with a special marking on their forehead. It's believed to be the source of their magic. Now, they weren't the most creative when choosing where to channel said magic. When a new pup is born, they are given a flower that they keep alive throughout their whole lives using their magic. Most of them choose to keep it behind their ear.
    Mereley a day after Yue received her flower, lotus, it started to droop. That was not supposed to happen. She was brought to the clans healer who announced her lack of magic.
   Growing older, she got quite insicure about her lack of a flower. She wasn't discriminated at all, rather, others really liked her warm perosnality. She just wanted to fit in. So she one day got the idea to pick a new lotus everytime her old one droops. That has lead her to pick a lotus everymorning. It's a miracle that there even are so many lotuses around.
