Summary

Fray is quite the phenomenon, his origins are unknown. It simply seems as though he appeared form thin air and moved into the bustling city he now lives. While he's not one to stand out amongst the crowds, those who know him know he has quite the power and secret kept behind his gentle and quiet, outward personality. He is a protector, unbenounced to all outsiders of his close knit circle of friends his long walks act as patrols for him. What's he protecting us from? Anything really, mortal problems, other worldly problems, things me may not even see.

You could catch him on his daily walks just casually strolling, or helping someone cross the street, picking up a fallen child tending to their scraped knee, consoling a fragile kitten in an alleyway. He's quite the softy. Should danger arise, however, and you get to see a completely different side of this pragmatic lad. Enveloped with passionate flames, Fray turns a striking crimson becoming the living embodiment of fire itself. Welding incredible power he can eradicate any otherworldly threat that may make its way to his city. With keen accuracy he wields flames to purify his enemies without causing damage to the environment around him despite his boisterous attitude when in this form. His friends originally believed Fray to be possessed or suffered multi-personality disorder due to the stark difference in his personality when he shifts forms, however, he has denied their theories. He simply states that both versions are him, the fire is his burning passion for life and his fire-kissed form is just those deep feelings amplified and manifested. Dramatic as it sometimes may be.

Even in his normal appearance, Fray limits himself to minimal usage of the fire he wields. Sometimes you can catch him lighting the stove or even candle with a small flame at the tip of his finger.
