The clock covered in dust still works somehow, the gears turning in step in their perfect waltz; it's shows time but time doesn't exist here anymore.

She holds her breath and everything around her stops; the pressure of her blood pumping in her veins grows louder in her ears, until the roar sounds like ocean waves.

"Stop that Tas."

Aleister kicks at the leg of her chair.

Her warm breath comes unfurling at the kick; gasping, she throws her back into the chair and immediately glares up at the tall man sitting beside her. The small dead bird in her hand makes a soft crunch as she tightens her fist, and a cool goo drips down between her fingers.

• Phantasmagore is an expert Harbinger of doom. She gives her sermons on street corners to whomever will listen, and to whomever won't cause her bodily harm.
  
  
• Because she is only "10", she doesn't know how to read or write, but with much practice, and the tutelage of Aleister, she can paint out "The end is nigh".
