Adi comes from a noble lineage known for producing many Aasimar, her family considers themselves blessed by Lathander in this way. Adi is a second-gen Aasimar, something rare even for her family. Her mother was a Paladin of the Order of the Aster who died when Adi was young, helping to dismantle the Cult of the Dragon’s plans to revive a bunch of dragonliches. Her father became overprotective of her due to this loss, as he did not want her to become a paladin for fear she too would die.

As a noble daughter, she was taught archery, hunting, and basic self-defense but was never let wander too far from the security of her home. Instead she turned to books and tales of the world beyond Waterdeep’s surroundings. When she received a quest from her Guardian, she snuck out and left a false trail of her heading south before embarking towards the frigid north.
