Graydawn

Gray is a short, muscular silver tabby with light green eyes. She is stockier and shorter than average, with a round face, suggesting some British Shorthair in her otherwise feral cat blood. Her eyes are bright and sharp, shaped like half moons. Her nose, ears, and pawpads are a dull pink, and her voice is bold and borderline obnoxious. She has several scars on her short, dense pelt, and her ears are torn.

She would die for her Clan and anyone in it, without a second thought

If there is a possibility something bad will happen… she will simply give an Anime Peptalk and fight to make things better

Very much a “leap before you think” kind of cat, which has gotten her into trouble as a younger cat!

Once she has her mind made up, it’s difficult for her to change it

When it comes to certain things, at least. She can be surprisingly-thick headed when it comes to things that don’t involve action

{Kithood]
Graykit was born the only kit to a dynamic duo of a pair: Whiteflash and Sunblaze. The two were incredible cats in their own right, having won many battles for TideClan. Graykit’s only regret? That she never got to see them in their glory. Sunblaze died protecting his Clan mere moons before Graykit was born, and Whiteflash became so horribly wounded that she had to retire to the elder’s den after she was done kitting. Graykit was the only surviving kit of that litter, her mother having given birth to two stillborns in addition to her.

{Apprenticeship}
Graykit grew up with the stories of her parents’ deeds guiding her pawsteps. She always looked up to them, but was never quite able to see how the weak, softer version of her mother could have once been so mighty, and always wishing she could have met her father. The time for apprenticeship came, and she was given to Memphis, a former loner, a friend of Sunblaze, and an experienced mentor. Under this training, as well as training alongside several other apprentices, she blossomed into a strong and capable warrior by the name of Graydawn.

{Warriorhood}
Moons passed, and her mother passed away- not with the fanfare of a grand battle, but quietly, fading from an illness that had been plaguing her for some time. It was then that the idea of becoming a leader entered her mind. She had never been adept at medicine, and therefore could not share tongues with StarClan, but perhaps there was another way to meet her parents. She had heard the tales of leaders going to the Starpool and receiving their nine lives, and meeting with StarClan there. Could she see her mother and father again that way?

There was only one way to find out. She fought constantly for her Clan, striving to make her parents -and her Clan- proud. It was a MossClan attack and the resignation of TideClan’s deputy that ended up giving Graydawn the opportunity for deputyship. Under the leadership of Monarchstar, Graydawn began to develop a true kinship with her Clan and desire to protect them, rather than strive only to make them proud. She hopes one day to become leader, to meet her parents truly, and make them proud.
