Darcy is a retired party-boy turned stay-at-home telemarketer. Once a rowdy partygoer who would drunkenly run off naked into the moonlight, now he stays at home sorting together his life, reattending college, and just making his money. A huge flirt, known for getting multiple crushes on guys his age (sometimes older) with the only criteria he seems to look for is if they have a pulse. He's just genuinely interested in dating every guy he comes across, and sees no problem with that so long as all his boyfriends know.
General Info
Darcy is first and foremost defined by how much of a goddamn flirt he is. If you have the tiniest semblance of male in you and you're not a child, you're getting flirted with. Sometimes because it's fun, but often because he is genuinely attracted to practically every guy he meets. Outside of that, he's a subdued jokester, doing it in a tasteful manner, in order to be comforting and warm to people. He knows he lacks smarts and sometimes awareness, so he does that to make others at ease around him. He's someone that takes things as they come, which can result in some very hefty consequences very often for him.
General BackstoryDarcy, growing up, was a massive prankster and, honestly, a little bit of a bully. He threw caution to the wind and just did whatever he found fun to himself. It's all very hazy memories for him, though, since due to a freak accident in his small town, him and all of his classmates ended up not remembering a single thing that happened to them for their childhood, only brief flickerings of memories coming back to him. After that incident, his fathers moved away and he got a new experience elsewhere, in the city.
Darcy turned into a party kid, channeling all that hyped up energy into getting drunk, hooking up and going wild wherever he may be. School was a rocky subject, as he flunked out and lived with his parents jobless for a bit, having absolutely no sense of purpose or direction to his life. He got a rough awakening, however, when his best friend died in a car accident. She had her whole life ahead of her. A nurse with a baby and an actual future to her, Darcy often wished he could have traded places with her. After her family and baby daddy refused to take her child, Darcy stepped up and adopted the child, Avalon, before she could go into foster care. As a result, he cut back on his partying, found a job as a telemarketer with his people skills, and started taking classes again, hoping he can find some direction for his life, for Avalon's sake.

Darcy has two dads! Both of his fathers are much less flirty and outgoing than Darcy, though.
Darcy has always known he was gay and polyamorous from a young age.
Usage Info
Fate: Wisps of the Past is a dwindling cast roleplay in which Darcy's backstory is centered around and is partaking in. Fate is the small town where he and his classmates lived for years and lost all that time together, only to come back to try and rekindle the memories but wound up in a hostile and supernatural situation that trapped them in the town, slowly dying off. Throughout the many chapters of this roleplay, Darcy fell into more of a depression, losing his will to keep on without any sense of what to do or how to overcome this trauma with how generally tame his life has been. One thing that has kept him sane in these times, cringe as it may sound, was love. He re-met both Bobby Jones and Carter Roberts in the town, and kindled a romantic relationship with the both of them that helped him to persist when things got rough. Not only just to persist for them, but moving forwards in general helped him to find his stride and his purpose, slowly maturing more and handling situations with grace, rather than crying and running away. The roleplay is very near its completion, with his fate still yet to be handled.
Design
Darcy is a tall 6'4, with a decently fit frame. He definitely has a good chunk of muscle but not as much as other gays.
He's not a huge fashionista, but he likes dressing to signal to other gay people that he's one of them. His stubbly face and wardrobe comes as a result of that, as well as paging what other guys he's into find attractive about himself. He enjoys bleaching his hair different colors, which is where the different colored facial hair and hair on his head comes from.
He sports a few ear piercings, blue, and matching painted nails. He enjoys the little details like that so people can point out how nice it is that he matches subtly. He sometimes sports circular glasses, but he doesn't really need them that much, so he often goes out without them.
