FROZEN CASTLE
Among dragons, most know exactly what they are meant to be. Some become rulers. Some become warriors. Some guard powerful lands. Isabella was strong, but she never felt like she fit into any of those roles. While other dragons valued power and dominance, she preferred quiet and creating ice sculptures. She often felt behind or out of place. Instead of competing, she slowly pulled away and stayed in her stone castle. It was not always cold, but as she distanced herself from others and their expectations, the castle gradually grew colder with her.
THE CHANGE
Isa freezes flowers because she does not like watching things fade away. She likes them at their most beautiful moment and wants them to stay that way. Change makes her uncomfortable. Endings hurt. Her magic makes things permanent, and she cannot undo what she freezes. Over time, she began choosing stillness over risk. A cold palace does not change with the seasons. Fire bothers her because it represents sudden change and loss of control. She prefers things calm, steady, and predictable.
HEADER
When Isa visits humans, she uses a puppet instead of going herself. The puppet is calm, confident, and speaks easily. It does not show doubt or weakness. In many ways, it is the version of Isa she wishes she could be in front of others. The puppet hides her fears and emotions, like a mask she can safely control. Isa says she values peace and she does but her peace often means keeping distance. Only when she is alone in her cold halls does she allow herself to drop the mask and simply exist.
