While he's good at giving an objective point of view on a matter, he has a hard time taking sides or action.
He usually doesn't think much over the things he learns, since it's not his duty to judge.
He's made to be approachable and pleasant company, but it's unlikely he'd take the initiative to form deeper relationships.

Background

The Zeitgeister are a line of androids that have been created by a peace-loving race of extra-terrestrials, pioneers in scientific and technological advancements. The androids are specifically built to integrate themselves into foreign societies and study them in real-time. Their ultimate purpose is to collect valuable data, which shall be used to forge a path to a better understanding between the many races that inhabit the universe. To do so, they're equipped with a very adaptive AI and a power engine that can run on any kind of energy source, beside many other features that support them in their role.

Because there is a high risk of a Zeitgeist recording sensitive data that could raise problems for the governments, there are set restrictions for the use of the androids, which differ from place to place. Even then, some information may be made inaccessible by a specific program within the androids. Attempts to unlock the security code by force will cause the whole system to crash, basically resetting it completely.

H0-L0-433 GEIST. - or Holo - is a recently manufactured Zeitgeist android. At the current, he's undergoing various tests to check his usability and receiving upgrades accordingly, all to prepare him for his very first research project.

**Abilities & Weaknesses**
Force Field Generation	He's able to create a close-ranged, defensive force field to shield himself and those standing closeby from physical and elemental attacks. Levitation and limited flight - only if there's a surface underneath him and he cannot fly too high. However, it lets him move significantly faster than by foot.
Force Field Limitations	Barriers can be broken by using a similar ability or great force. Projectiles may be thrown back, but no offensive use by itself. Certain beings (i.e. ethereals) won't be held back by the force field. No generation possible if he's low on energy.
Synthetic Body	Body parts (arms, legs, tail) can be switched out or added on to adapt to the surrounding's requirements. While his body seems to be covered by 'armor', it has about the same texture as skin. It's more durable than skin, however. A few parts are hard - like the extrusions on his head and the blue circles. Mouth tentacles serve to gather and analyze samples in atmosphere, fluids, etc. Originally, only one appandage was planned, but someone thought it would be hilarious to give him two more.
Cybernetic	Quick access to and installation of practical knowledge, like languages. Communication with other AIs and machines through 'telepathy'. He may hack into their systems or give them commands. Runs the risk of getting hacked himself.

Trivia

While Holo's only been active for three years, his mental capacities are comparable to that of a person in his 20s or 30s.
The most basic traits of his personality (and some common knowledge) are pre-programmed, but they are free to change and develop.
His name may or may not be inspired by a Goatbed song.
