Biba escaped from an abusive Pokémon Trainer who used her as an "HM Slave," and in the process stole his Pokétch, which she wears as a trophy and uses to communicate with others. She has an intense, seething hatred of Pokémon Trainers and believe all of them to be just as bad as her old Trainer. She's largely motivated by hate and spite. Her speech (to those who can understand it) features heavy profanity, because she believes it helps her communicate how intensely angry she is at all times. It's not clear how much of her anger is genuine and how much is bravado. Deep down she might just be sad and lonely...
