Montero Blithe
in his later 40s (in human years)
the second in command to Lucien, and admires his work ethic exponentially

Montero is perpetually in a state of quiet annoyance at the world. He's gruff and tired and quite strict at times. Overall a very hardworker!
He used to be a lot more lax, but with the passing of his brother and his wife, he was left to take care of their daughter Midas after the remaining family broke into a heavy fight over who would gain custody and the leftover property.

Montero was quick to step in for his niece and essentially adopted her as his daughter. It took him only a very short time to warm up to the fact that she was well... fully going by she/her now, but he supports and loves her dearly. Midas loves talking to him and he's genuinely happy that she can trust him enough to babble on about certain topics.

He honestly never thought that he would be taking care of someone so young. In fact he had only ever met Midas once when she was a little tot, but of course it wasn't like she remembered. Regardless, he's been doing his best to raise her in present day.

He can be a little overbearing and overprotective from time to time but he really cares about her.
